So what is Kintusgi all about?

Kintsugi is from the Japanese art form of putting back together broken pieces of pottery with gold and making the imperfections and its flaws a feature. It takes the broken pieces and makes them into something much stronger and more beautiful.

Instead of trying to hide the flaws and making it look new, it highlights the 'scars' as part of its overall design. This is like us in the way that we all have scars, but by making the imperfections a feature of who we are, we turn something broken into something more unique, beautiful, and resilient.

"We want to see a world where mental and emotional health is understood and accepted with safe and supportive communities for everyone to grow and flourish"

So what is a Kintsugi Hope well-being group?

A Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing Group is a safe and supportive place for people

who are feeling that life is becoming overwhelming to get support.

They will start to discover ways they can begin to gain control over these

situations and start to discover their treasure in their scars.

The group meets over 12 weeks to work through different topics such as anxiety, depression, disappointment, perfectionism, self-acceptance, and more, all in a safe and supportive setting. Participants are encouraged to take part in the conversational activities, but only share what they feel comfortable in sharing.

We all have scars, but together we can learn to accept them as who we are and let them begin to help us learn from each other and to value who we are and how we are all more than enough.

Our next course will be starting in March'24.
